Domestic Sales Position

Navitar is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong background in technical sales to grow our existing channel, develop new customer contacts, and expand our presence in North America. Applicants must have a proven track record of direct sales as well as channel management experience. Initially, this position will focus on inside sales, however, applicant must be willing to transition to outside sales requiring 30% travel throughout the region. 

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work in a fully autonomous environment
  • Experience working directly with engineering staff at customer site to provide solutions
  • 2 plus years experience selling technically based products
  • Competent with Microsoft Office
  • Formal sales training a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Background in machine vision, image processing, or optics is desirable
  • Undergraduate degree is desirable
  • Position reports to Vice President Sales and is located in the Rochester, NY office.
