Digital and retail signage allows retailers to advertise using dynamic in-store
signs that grab customers' attention and offer an interactive and engaging shopping
experience. With constantly changing messages created with computer generated
video, graphics, text and animation, retailers can better customize their promotional
messages and target different markets at a much lower cost than with traditional
display posters and billboards.
Navitar projection lenses were recently selected as components of an award
winning in-store projection-based digital signage system created by Digital
Signage Services for the Macy’s store in Florida’s Dadeland Mall.
Our lenses were the only lenses in the marketplace that met the specific projection
requirements of the project.
“Dynamic and Digital in Dadeland,” from the In-Store Digital Media
supplement of the May issue of Visual Merchandising and Store Design describes
the innovative system and how it came to fruition. The project won the Judges’
Choice Award in the 2006 DIGI competition presented by The Digital Signage Group.
