Introducing Navitar's New ScreenStar Wide Angle and Long Throw Conversion
Lenses for DLP, DILA, LCOS and small format LCD Projectors

to announce its latest advance in DLP & LCD video projector accessory lenses.
The new 0.8X wide angle and 1.2X telephoto conversion lenses allow users to
easily change the picture size or throw distance for almost any size format
DLP or LCD projector.
The ScreenStar wide angle 0.8X adapter lens fits easily in front of the standard
lens and allows the user to achieve up to a 20% wider picture on the screen
without having to move the projector. For example the typical DLP format projector
user could get a 120” diagonal picture at the same distance where they
might have only been able to achieve a 100" diagonal screen in a front
projection, ceiling mount, application.
The ScreenStar telephoto 1.2X adapter lens fits easily in front of the standard
lens and allows the user to typically move the projector up to 20% farther away
from the screen and still achieve the desired picture size. Home theater interior
designers often prefer to locate the projector at the back of the room rather
than placing it overhead in the middle of the room. For example the 16:9 format
DLP projector user could now get a 120” diagonal picture at 22.3’
distance rather than at a 17.8’ distance.
These lenses are available for projector brands such as Infocus, Sharp, Epson,
Sony, Panasonic, Hitachi, Optoma, JVC, Mitsubishi, Sanyo and Eiki.
