Navitar Releases New Ultra Wide Angle Lenses For Projectors
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – February 14, 2006 – Navitar, Inc. announces a new
series of ultra wide angle 0.8:1 ratio replacement lenses from its NuView line
of lenses for projectors. There are currently three lenses in this new wide angle
series for DLP .7”, LCD 1.3”, and LCD .99” projectors.
These new lenses allow for a larger image at a shorter distance and can be
used for front or rear projection. They replace the prime lens in medium to
large-size projectors.
These versatile lenses are available for DLP and LCD projectors, and work with
many projector brands including Panasonic, Eiki, Sanyo, Christie, Sharp, NEC,
Sony, and Hitachi.
“Existing and potential customers in markets such as simulation and training,
universities, corporations, and home theater who typically work with shorter
throw distances can now achieve the larger image they want with our ultra wide
angle lenses,” said Navitar Co-President Julian Goldstein.
