How long do bulbs last? Are they expensive?

Bulbs are rated at 12,000-hour lamp life. Replacement bulbs can be purchased from Navitar.

How much do the lights weigh? Will my ceiling support them?

The Recessed Hi-Lite units weigh approximately 16.8 lbs (7.6 kg). The Original Hi-Lite units weigh approximately 8.3 lbs (3.8 kg). Most suspended ceiling grids are rated to support more than 50 lbs. All units are shipped with a supplemental support harness.

Which model is best suited for my application?

All models will work in most situations.  Which model best suits your needs depends on requirements such as aesthetics, portability or cost.  For example:

Recessed Hi-Lite: Best for areas where room aesthetics are paramount, such as high-end boardrooms or corporate headquarters.

Original Hi-Lite: Best for applications where portability will be needed, such as portable streaming studios or use with "roll-about" systems.

What is the warranty period?

One-year parts and labor, excluding bulbs. (Call for a written copy of the complete warranty.)
